Norwegian Falconry Association was established in 2019 by Ellen Hagen & Marthe H. Kjørkleiv. NFA was created to educate about falconry historically in Norway and to share knowledge about practical falconry for people in Norway. NFA is also a volunteer-based and non-profit association. Falconry is not legal in Norway, but NFA is a member of IAF - International Association of Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (www.iaf.org). NFA will educate both the public and members about falconry and can help connect people if they want to see or try falconry abroad.
NFA accepts international memberships (30 Euro), international members will be able to learn more about the situation and history in Norway regarding falconry. Contact us for more info, or leave a message under 'Medlemskap'.
Please be patient as we work on our new web page, we will provide more information in English soon. Do get in touch if you have any questions.
